The White Tailed Eagle has been successfully reintroduced to the Irish western seaboard counties in the last decade so this made the perfect subject for a commission I recently undertook for a Co. Kerry resident

At the moment they’re are 5 breeding pairs recorded in Co.Kerry alone which is great news.

They are the 4th largest Eagle species in the world, with a wingspan of up to 2.2M…..they are sometimes referred to as the “Flying Barndoor”….
